The MCDC5M is a dummy connector for the Subconn Miniature Circular Series MCBH5F connectors. It can be used to protect MCBH5F connectors during transport, or to seal off any unused connectors when used subsea. A suitable MCDLS should be used to secure the dummy connector in place and prevent accidental dislodging.
