Description
The ToughSonic TS-100.30C1X.007FA is a heavy-duty, non-contact ultrasonic level and distance sensor engineered for versatile system integration in harsh industrial environments. Encased in an IP68/NEMA-6P marine-grade 316 stainless steel housing with a 9.1m (30ft) maximum range, this variant combines an addressable RS485 serial interface with a complete suite of standard output channels, including simultaneous 0–10 VDC, 4–20 mA current loop, and dual programmable NPN/PNP switches. For installations requiring dedicated digital communications without unused signal lines, the alternative TS-100.30C2X.007FA removes the additional analogue and switch outputs to significantly lower electrical power consumption. Conversely, the TS-100.30C1X.007FA remains the ideal choice for applications that require up to 32 addressable RS485 serial sensors alongside direct local analogue control or PLC switch monitoring.

The ToughSonic sensors are very versatile and the SenixView software allows the units to be easily rescaled, configured, cloned, addressed and synchronised with other sensors. Simultaneous outputs are available in programmable 4-20mA or 0-10V analogue outputs and PNP or NPN switches (configurable as sinking or sourcing). The RS485 serial output can link to an addressable network using the Modbus protocol. If requested, this can be done prior to shipping for easier installation, order TSPC-PROG and we will program to your specific requirements.
