Description
The new VLS/DA1 Series Optical Speed Sensors with a 0-6V Analogue Output via an integral Digital/Analogue converter. It is designed for data logging applications where general speed monitoring of machines is required. The output updates each 3 or 30 revolutions, depending if you are using Range 1 or Range 2.

NB: Only connect the two 0V wires (Black and Green) together at the power supply. This is to prevent any voltage drop along the 0V conductors causing a DC offset on the output.
