Tinytag data loggers use 3-wire measurement circuitry. 2, 3, or 4-wire probes can be connected to our loggers using our 5-pin plug. The wire colours mentioned in Connection Information 2 are commonly found on PT100 and PT1000 sensors. If different colours are used, please check connection details with your sensor supplier.
*When using a 2-wire probe, pins A and B on the plug should be shorted together.
**If your cable has a screen it can optionally be connected to this pin.
