Description
The TGE-0011 is designed for locations where the CO2 levels have been found to exceed the 2,000ppm range. Often these can have poor ventilation, overcrowded arenas or areas containing sources of CO2. These can be overcrowded nightclubs, concert halls, energy-efficient buildings, or anywhere that has more people that was intended for the ventilation system. The TGE-0011 has a measuring range of 0 to 5,000ppm, which is the long-term (8-hour) workplace exposure limit for CO2 In the UK.
Monitoring Carbon Dioxide (CO2) levels is increasingly crucial for assessing the ventilation systems in modern, environmentally controlled buildings. The Tinytag CO2 logger offers a cost-effective solution for this vital aspect of building management. Poor indoor air quality, can negatively impact concentration, performance, and even health in public venues or workplaces. By measuring indoor CO2 concentrations, you gain valuable insights into air quality and the efficiency of the ventilation systems. Repeated high levels of CO2 may suggest that either limits need placed on the number of people inside, or a need to invest in additional ventilation.
In workplaces and schools, CO2 levels typically range from 600 to 700ppm, well above the normal atmospheric levels of 400ppm. While a maximum comfortable level is often set at 1,500 ppm, levels can reach up to 5,000ppm in overcrowded, or poorly ventilated areas. The Tinytag CO2 logger enables continuous monitoring of CO2 levels within a room, generating a clear picture of gas concentration trends over time. The TGE-0011 is a good alternative to the TGE-0010, especially where you find levels are exceeding the 2,000ppm range,

The Tinytag CO2 logger uses a self-calibrating NDIR sensor, which uses an infrared source to accurately measure the carbon dioxide concentrations in an application. Over time, the properties of the infrared source will change, so the sensor uses a second infrared source, that is only powered up occasionally, to calibrate the first. This patented measurement technique allows for excellent long-term accuracy and stability.
