Description
The MC 4.0 Junior is available in 4 different versions, with options for lemo connectors to accept any MiniWater or MiniAir 20 vane anemometers, touchscreen display or the larger 4,000mAh battery. Units can also feature an internal datalogger, improved accuracy, Bluetooth connectivity, additional measuring channels, temperature or volume flow measurements. There are also additional modules available to allow for humidity, differential pressure or thermoair probes to be connected to the unit.
Turbine or vane anemometers can be swapped on site and will automatically adjust to the connected sensors.MiniWater 20 probes come with two different flow ranges: 0-5m/s and 0-10m/s and in two different sixed snapheads: Micro; Mini. The Micro head is smaller than the diameter of the shaft and allows for probes to be inserted into compression glands, whilst the Mini head has a slightly lower starting velocity.
MiniAir 20 vane anemometers for air flows come in three different sizes: Micro; Mini; and Macro, with two different flow ranges available for each: 0-20ms; and 0-40m/s. The individual probes include a synthetic plastic construction snap head with a metal turbine that generates a frequency output each time the metal blade passes the probe handle. The frequency of rotation is virtually proportional to the air-flow velocity and largely independent of pressure, temperature, density and humidity. Probes are available with either Aluminium or Steel vane and handles. The Aluminium probes are suitable for non-aggressive gases. Steel probes are available for aggressive environments or higher temperature environments.

Snap-Head Replacement
The snap-head fixing system renders it very simple to fit a new impeller to the flow probe: this saves costly non-productive time and in the event of damage to the snap-head enables you to have the probe back in service in a matter of seconds by simply changing the snap-head.
Any snap head replacement should be of the same original size and flow range.
