Tango TX1 Single Gas Monitor

The Tango TX1 Single Gas Monitor for personal protection from dangerous levels of Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Sulphide, Nitrogen Dioxide or Sulphur Dioxide. The Tango TX1 will operate continuously in an always-on mode for two years, with a replaceable gas cells and Lithium-Thionyl Chloride battery allowing the detector to be used much longer. The DualSense Technology provides a more reliable output by incorporating the readings from two independent sensors to ensure an accurate reading.

Description

The Tango TX1 is a robust and user-friendly single-gas monitor, engineered to provide continuous, high-reliability protection against specific hazardous gases like Carbon Monoxide (CO), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), or Sulphur Dioxide (SO2). Its defining feature is the DualSense Technology, which incorporates two sensors for the same gas, significantly increasing safety and reducing the risk of sensor failure regardless of bump test frequency. The TX1-G is the recommended alternative to the TX1-1, if the gas detector is being used in environments where Hydrogen gas could be present. The TX1-G includes the CO/H2 Low cells which includes two electrodes and a special catalyst with a lower sensitivity to Hydrogen and prevents incorrect readings. With a standard CO cell in the Tango TX1, 100 ppm of H2 would typically result in an additional 22 ppm CO reading, whereas the specialised CO/H2 Low sensor would show 5 ppm or less of CO under the same H2 exposure.
