The EL-USB-1-PRO is a USB temperature data logger with a measurement range of -40 to +125°C. The data logger can store up to 32,510 readings and is supplied with a long-life replaceable 2/3 AA Lithium battery, allowing the unit to log data continually for up to 3 years (depending on logging rate and temperature). The status of EL-USB-1-PRO is housed in a robust stainless steel housing with good corrosion and impact protection. The data logger is protected against water ingress to IP67 standard when the protective cap is fitted.

The EL-USB-1-PRO industrial temperature data logger is suitable for a wide variety of applications, these include but are not limited to:

The Stainless Steel (316 grade) housing provides a more robust logger and additional protection for harsh environmental conditions in building sites or other outdoor environments. The housing also allows for better sanitation for pharmaceutical and food applications.
Only use an EL-USB-1-PRO battery that is supplied or recommended by Omni Instruments Ltd, which is rated for use in high temperatures and has the correct battery terminals. Using non-recommended batteries may result in fire or explosion at high temperatures. Suitable batteries are: Tadiran TLH-5955/S and Tadiran SL-561/S.
EasyLog USB Software
The EasyLog USB control software is available as a free download from here. The software is easy to install and use, plus is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7, 8 and 10. The software is used to set up the logger, alarms, download, graph and annotate data or export in Excel, PDF and jpeg formats. It is also possible to set the alarm to remain active, even if the reading has returned to normal, in which case the alarm LED will continue to flash red. This ‘Hold’ feature in the software ensures the user is notified that at some point an alarm level has been exceeded, without needing to download the data.
The software allows the following parameters to be configured:
- Logger name
- Logging rate (user selectable between 1 seconds and 12 hours)
- High and low alarms
- Immediate and delayed logging start
