Description
The TxIsoPack is an isolated 2-wire 4-20mA head mounted temperature transmitter that stands out for its unique, user-friendly configuration method. It’s a loop-powered, 2-wire device designed for signal conversion from a wide range of industrial sensors into a standard 4-20mA output. Its core strengths lie in its universal input capabilities and the simplicity of its setup. Each head mounted transmitter has a USB port to allow connection to a PC or mobile for configuration.
Features
- Universal Input: The TxIsoPack can accept a comprehensive list of sensor inputs, standard thermocouples (Types J, K, T, E, N, R, S, B), PT100 and low-level mV signals (0-50mV). This single-device versatility allows it to replace multiple dedicated transmitters.
- Integrated USB Port: The most significant feature is the built-in micro-USB port. This eliminates the need for a separate, proprietary configuration interface. Users can simply connect the transmitter directly to a PC or even a smartphone (with an OTG adapter) for quick and easy programming, calibration, and monitoring. The device can even be powered by the USB connection during setup.
- Measurement Accuracy: It delivers high precision with typical accuracy of 0.3% for thermocouples, and 0.2% for PT100’s and mV signals, ensuring reliable readings for critical process control.
- Cold Junction Compensation: Thermocouple sensors allow for cold junction compensation to improve accuracy.
- Durable & Compact Design: Designed for DIN form B sensor head mounting, its compact size and robust housing (ABS UL94-HB) make it suitable for installation in tight spaces while ensuring durability and resistance to industrial environments.
