The Rutland FM1803-2 Furlmatic Windcharger makes generating power at remote sites possible and at an affordable cost too. This 1.8M diameter turbine, designed for use on land is very powerful for its size and with a proven track record behind it you can rely on it too, it’s built to last.

The Rutland FM910-4 Furlmatic Windcharger is designed for land based power generation for remote locations, making them ideal for remote logging applications. This windcharger has been successfully installed in the harshest of environments for critical power supply requirements. Being used with monitoring systems in Antarctica, Himalayan mountains and the hot, dusty climate of the Sahara Desert. The FM910-4 incorporates a unique high inertia alternator design to maintain momentum between gusts, which delivers more power. The automatic furling tail fin directs the turbine out of the wind above 16m/s to reduce stress on the turbine and tower.

The Rutland 1200 is capable of trickle charging battery banks of up to 175Ah. Tri-namic profile blades allow for a low wind speed start up, high wind speed power performance and yet still achieve almost silent running across all wind speeds. Low friction generation and its inertia drives the turbines between gusts to capture more energy. The Rutland 1200 is supplied with a MPPT charger controller, which can be used with the Rutland 1200 and up to 20A of solar panels.

The Rutland 914i windcharger intelligently uses maximum power point tracking technology to perfectly match the generator operation to the turbine speed to achieve a highly efficient power output. This allows this compact 910mm diameter turbine to generate up to 140W @ 11m/s.

The Rutland 504 is ideal for trickle charging battery banks of up to 100Ah. It is ideal for use in off-grid remote monitoring systems to provide a constant charge to the batteries. This latest model follows the success of its predecessor the Rutland 500 with a number of enhancements including performance and styling. The Rutland 504 e-furl Windcharger has built in electronics to provide additional protection for the turbine and tower during storm force winds.
