Dynamic & Static Rotary Torque Sensors. Rotary torque transducers. Torque transmitters. Ranges 10mNm to 13,000 Nm, with auto ranging interface units with digital display and analogue outputs. Units come with fixed analogue outputs, configurable analogue outputs and digital outputs in USB, RS232 and CANBUS. The TorqView Windows software, provides a real time graphical display and full data logging facility via a PC. The Optical Rotary Torque (ORT) Transducers are ideal for applications when the demand is for low torque and/or high bandwidth, providing precise, dynamic measurement of rotary and static torque from 10mNm and for bandwidths of up to 50kHz and RPM of up to 30,000.

ORT Series Optical Rotart Torque Transducer
ORT Series Optical Rotary Torque Transducers
The ORT 230/240 Transducer offers an ideal means for precise dynamic measurement of rotary and static torque with available ranges of less than 100Nm and for bandwidths of up to 50Khz. The new TorqSense ORT 230/240 torque sensors replace the E200 ORT series and feature all new electronics that have produced significant performance gains in resolution, frequency response, reduced sensor current consumption and faster digital data throughput. The ORT Series Transducers use a non-contact measurement principle whereby a light passes through two discs with segmented gratings and photovoltaic sensors constantly monitor the light beam intensity to produce an electrical output that is used to provide a precise indication of the torque transmitted by the shaft. Optical rotary torque sensors are ideal for applications when the demand is for low torque and/or high bandwidth.

SGR Series Rotary Transducer For Torque, Speed & Power Measurements - External Electronics
SGR Series Rotary Transducer For Torque, Speed & Power Measurements - External Electronics

These SGR Series Transducers can be used to monitoring bi-directional rotary or static torque with an external electronics box. An integrated speed sensor  enable the direct measurements of transmitted power and RPM. The SGR Series Transducers operate using a four-element strain gauge wheatstone bridge, which connects to a microcontroller to process the bridge output signal and measure the torque applied to the shaft. Using the full bridge helps to diminish errors from any off-axis forces and increases the sensitivity and temperature performance of the strain measurement. Available with ranges 0-1Nm to 0-13,000 Nm. The SGR53x units come with fixed analogue outputs for torque measurements, whilst the SGR54x units also has RS232, CANbus or USB output to interface with TorqView Windows software, which provides a PC real time graphical display and full data logging facility, plus allowing you to make changes to the.analogue outputs.

The SGR Series replaces the previous RWT Series Torque transducers.
