Ultrasonic Level & Distance Transmitter

The ToughSonic TSPC sensors are general purpose level and distance sensors that use ultrasonic sound waves to measure distances to objects and fluids at up to 50ft (15.2m). The Senix TSPC level sensors come in a rugged marine grade 316 stainless steel housing with full epoxy potting to allow installation in the harshest environments. The ToughSonic sensors have scaleable 4-20mA and 0-10V analogue outputs for accurate level and distance measurements and PNP/NPN switching outputs for alarming or control of pumps and valves. Groups of sensors can be sychronised to prevent mutual interference and up to 32 RS485 units can be used in a single addressable network.

The ToughSonic Remote sensors are specifically designed for low powered remote level and distance monitoring that use ultrasonic sound waves to measure distances to objects and fluids. The ToughSonic Remote level sensors differ from the standard ToughSonic sensors as they only provide a serial Modbus output without any analogue or digital outputs. The units are housed in a rugged marine grade 316 stainless steel housing with full epoxy potting to allow installation in the harshest environments. Groups of sensors can be synchronised to prevent mutual interference and up to 32 RS485 units can be used in a single addressable network. The ToughSonic Remote 14, 30 and 50 have been specifically designed for demanding applications with solar power and real time data via GSM/GPRS or even satellite communications to a central monitoring station.

The ToughSonic CHEM LVL sensors are designed for liquid level measurements in corrosive chemical environments. The LVL sensors use a non-contact, ultrasonic signal to measure distances up to 35 ft (10.7m). Units are fully submersible, chemically and shock resistant with a PVDF housing and fully sealed and potted electronics. The ToughSonic CHEM sensors have scaleable 4-20mA and 0-10V analogue outputs for accurate level and distance measurements and PNP/NPN switching outputs for alarming or control of pumps and valves. Groups of sensors can be sychronised to prevent mutual interference and up to 32 RS485 units can be used in a single addressable network using the SYNC function.
