13201A/23201A Single and Dual Axis Low Range MEMS Accelerometers

Quick Overview

The Single Axis 13201A and Dual Axis 23201A MEMS Accelerometers are available in ranges ±1, ±1.5 and ±2g. These acceleromters have exceptionally high performance with zero g bias stability of 3mg. Bandwidths are available from 6.6Hz to 2,100Hz and very low noise 110 μg/√Hz. Power supply 8.5-36vDC with a output range of 0.05 to 4.95vDC these units are easy to interface with displays, data loggers and other instrumentation without further signal conditioning. Units are supplied in a rugged Aluminum housing with options for terminal blocks, DB9M connector or flying leads with custom cable lengths.

The single-axis 13201A and dual-axis 23201A analog accelerometers are capable of accurately measuring ±1g, ±1.5g or ±2g accelerations on one or two axes at bandwidths of 6.6Hz to 2,100Hz. The voltage output of the 13201A and 23201A is directly proportional to the acceleration along the axis. Each DC-coupled output is fully scaled, referenced, and temperature compensated by the internal temperature sensor. Users are supplied with a calibration certificate listing sensitivity and offset for each sensor, as well as the on-axis and transverse alignment parameters needed to ensure rapid and efficient system implementation. Increased offset compensation can be obtained with Option C002. Tested over the -40 to +85ºC temperature range, the accelerometers have a nominal full scale output swing of ±2 Volts. The zero g output level is nominally +2.5 Volts. Precise values are available on the included calibration certificate. Both sensors are housed in a rugged, compact housing with potted electronics. The small size and built-in power regulation allow the 13201A and 23201A to be used in applications that other accelerometers can’t. Custom versions of the 13201A and 23201A can be provided on request.

Choose the number of axes, bandwidth and acceleration range options from the product builder below that best suits your application. The 'Bandwidth' defines the number of times per second that the analogue output is updated. For slow moving tilt applications, a low bandwidth would be best. For fast moving, vibration applications or controlling a fast moving machine, a higher bandwidth should be selected. Custom versions of the 13201A and 23201A can also be provided for applications which require different range and/or bandwidth to the standard options available.
