Quick Overview

Omni Instruments have supplied many bespoke systems for high speed measurement and logging of parameters such as strain, vibration, pressure, electrical signals etc for test and development application in the rail industry, construction, defence and oil and gas industries. Our range of BMCM acquistion units are cabable of acquistion rates of up to 250 KHZ, and store data direct to a PC, laptop or embedded PC. Systems can be provided from a for a few input channels up to dozens uf channels with signal conditioning amps suitable for a wide range of sensors.

Our Ethernet  high speed acquisition units have 16 Analogue Inputs (selectable ranges of 1V, 2V, 5V, 10V, with a 250kHz  total sampling rate and 16 Bit resolution), 2 Analogue Outputs (10V, with 16 bit resolution), 32 digital I/O channels (3 of which can be configured as 32-bit counters) all connected to a LAN network using a TCP/IP protocol to provide a safe and complete data transmission over long distances. Several DAQ systems can be integrated into a single network with several LAN-AD16F devices being fully synchronized. The number of potential units is only limited by the bandwidth of your network. Power supply 12-40v DC, plus units can be supplied by PoE (Power over Ethernet) to reduce cabling and make mobile measurements easier.
