The LPMS-IG1 Motion Sensor is a high precision, miniature, inertial measurement unit (IMU) with optional GPS antenna connection (LPMS-IG1P). The LPMS-IG1 features a 3-axis accelerometer, Dual gyroscopes and magnetometer sensors and can provide raw data, euler angle or quaternion data output formats via USB, RS232, RS485 or CANBus protocols. The sensors are housed in an IP67 Aluminium housing with an M12 connection, plus SMA connector for GPS antenna on LPMS-IG1P version. The LPMS-IG1P features an automotive-grade GNSS extension that supports global positioning based on BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, GPS / QZSS Satellite systems.

Details

The LPMS-IG1 Motion Sensor is a miniature inertial measurement unit (IMU) and attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) with optional GPS antenna integration. The unit performs accurate, high speed orientation and displacement measurements with three different MEMS sensors. The LPMS-IG1 is equipment with a powerful central processing unit that will fuse raw data from the dual gyroscopes, accelerometer and magnetometer to calculate results in real-time with low drift and high accuracy. The LPMS-IG1P features an integrated sma antenna connection for GPS data integration. All sensor parameters and data transmission options can be controlled by our IG1-Control software. For direct interfacing to Windows / Linux PC or embedded system we provide extensive library support.
