SSE232-ST Standard

Quick Overview

SSE232-ST is an Ethernet communications device that can connect any serial device (RS232/485/422) to a standard Ethernet network. It will also allow you to remote access these devices from a PC. As a special feature, the SSE232-ST has built-in digital inputs / outputs. This feature is different from similar devices, as it provides a comprehensive solution for remote control applications, without the need for additional input/output modules. This unit is ideal for connecting PLC's and other serial devices with RS232 or 485 com ports via TCP/IP to a remote PC. Utilsing the Com Port Redirector software a virtual serial port can also be configured on the remote PC to enable the use of proprietary software requiring an RS232 port to communicate with the remote device.
