Exemys Middleware Integration software for Cellular Telemetry applications

Exemys Middleware Integration software for Cellular Telemetry applications

2-3 Days Del.

Quick Overview

Exemys Middleware is a powerful software that allows on one side to integrate and manage in real time, the remote acquisition and control (GRD) devices, and on the other to register and make available to the user, all the collected information to be finally used by some software application.

Details

Classification according to the user’s software application

There are three variants of middleware according to the software to be used to visualize and obtain the collected information by the Middleware.

1) WEB Middleware

2) Transparent Middleware

3) Modbus Middleware (SCADA/Poller)

1) WEB Middleware

As the name shows, the final application taking the information from Middleware, is simply a Web page, previously designed according to the user’s application. For this purpose, WEB Middleware records all the information from the remote acquisition and control devices, into an SQL type database, which can be read from any Web application designed to that effect.

2) Transparent Middleware

The Transparent Middleware is used in applications where a transparent communication tunnel is needed between the device to be controlled and the original software of such device. For this purpose, a port redirector (Included in the Middleware license) is installed in the computer having the original software of the device, which takes the information of the original software and sends it to the Middleware, which in turn retransmits to the corresponding remote device. In this manner, neither the original software nor the remote device, are ever aware of the existence of the communication link made by Middleware, through GPRS cellular telephony.

3) Modbus Middleware

Designed particularly for the industrial automation and control segment, Middleware Modbus allows the use of any final application handling such a protocol, as for example SCADA software or a Poller Software, to access the information of the remote devices, which were originally designed for communication with Modbus. In this manner, neither the original software nor the remote device, are ever aware of the existence of the communication link made the Middleware, by means of GPRS cellular telephony.
