Quick Overview

The Wireless Sensor Receiver (WSR) works as a receiver unit for GEN II transmitters to provides an analogue output for inputs to connected GEN II transmitters. The WSR is a self-contained mains powered receiver and output unit with built-in batteries providing 48 hours of operation in the event of a mains failure. An LCD is incorporated for real time metering of sensor values. Two models are available with either 8 or 16 inputs/outputs and both will provide a 0-5V or 4-20mA output for interfacing with a logger, PLC or other data acquisition system. The WSR unit can be used with most GEN II transmitters (Except pulse and event loggers). The GEN II System uses a licence free 434MHz one way transmission frequency.

Radio Telemetry System

The WSR is a self-contained mains-powered receiver and output unit with built-in batteries providing 48 hours of operation in the event of a mains failure. An LCD is incorporated for real time metering of sensor values. The WSR is suitable for integrating to any monitoring systems which accept 0-5vDC or 4-20mA analogue inputs with slowly changing variables – typically measured every 10 seconds. Two models are available with up to 8 or 16 input/output channels.

Most GenII transmitters can be used with the WSR. The transmitter units are battery powered and can simply be placed where you need them. Transmitters can be configured using our set-up software and most models are available with an LCD display for local monitoring. Local audible and visual alarms can be built in to transmitters, if required.

The WSR will generate a voltage or current output based on a verified data packet being received from a GEN II transmitter. The generated signal will be held until an updated value is received, or the configured interval has elapsed and a 'No Data' value will be output instead. The interval is defaulted to 6 transmitter intervals but can be amended, if required.
