Portable Handheld Flow Meter for Open Channel Flow Measurement This unit utilises the MiniWater6 Mini probe and the SQ2010 portable data logger to provide a versatile and accurate portable measurement and logging device for the measurement of water flows in open channels, tanks and chambers. The measurement range is 0.02 - 5 m/s and the unit is supplied with a 1.5 metre telescopic probe for general open channel applications. Where flow measurement in deeper channels or vessels is required the probe can be fixed to along pole ( up to 10 metres ).

The MiniWater20 consists of an insertion type turbine sensor on a telescopic probe, with a hand held display unit, showing water velocity in the range 0.1 - 5 metres per second. The display unit has an anlogue output proportional to velocity which can be used as a data logger input. The unit also measures water temperature range 0-70 degree C.
