Hygroclip is a high quality probe for humidity and temperature measurement in air, which is 100% interchangeable without adjustment. It has versatile output signals, 2 analogue (0-1v), and 1 digital output. It is ideal for interfacing with a wide range od data loggers and is also used with Rotronic M Series transmitters, HygroPalm hand held instruments and HygroLog NT data loggers
The ground breaking HygroClip concept was developed to provide the user with high performance measurements and convenient features. It was introduced in 1997 as the world`s first 100% interchangeable humidity and temperature sensor module that could be replaced without the need for adjustment or calibration.
The heart of the HygroClip concept is a custom ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) which was an exclusive development by Rotronic. ASIC technology provides un-paralled measurement performance, with compact dimensions and a realistic cost. Today there are a wide range of measurement solutions based on this single platform, from handhelds to complex laboratory analysers.
Each provides the best possible measurement performance and a range of convenient features such a digital calibration (software or push button) and user re-configuration. The HygroClip modules are complete instruments, with integrated temperature compensation and highly flexible power requirements. Calibration data is maintained within the integrated electronics. It provides linear analogue output signals for %rh and °C, so can be connected to third party manufacturers equipment if required. When connected to ROTRONIC instruments, communication is Digital, meaning that interchangeability is 100%.
