The internal blower fan of the CV 2 generates an airflow current that moves across the body of the mounted sensor, exiting through the ventilation cover exhaust port, and creating a laminar airflow across the sensors dome surface. The resulting effect is excellent dew, frost, and snow deposition prevention on the sensors dome surface, as well as reduced overall system maintenance.
The CV 2 has also been specifically engineered to promote optimal thermal equilibrium between the sensors dome and body surfaces; thus causing a notable reduction in infrared (IR) offset effect, and improving operational performance.
