The Area-Velocity flow sensor uses sound waves to measure the depth of fluid passing over the sensor. The sensors flood the flow with multiple sound waves to increase the signal amplitude and create a more representative flow velocity reading. The new single phase-Dual wave technology elimates cross talk and creates a homogenous sound cone. Embedded signal processing electronics allows for zero signal loss and longer cable lengths. The streamline sensor housing minimises fouling and the option of doubling up sensors results in more reliable data.
