The DMI420 is a dual axis inclinometer with USB connection and digital display for real-time inclination monitoring. Units include a built-in rechargeable battery suitable for up to 8 hours standalone operation from 3 hours charging, or infinite operation when powered by the USB port. The USB port may also be connected to a laptop or PC for synchronised display and to store data. The housing is a rugged Aluminium alloy with a double magnetic mounting option and IP54 rating. Range ±90° with an accuracy of 0.05° and 0.01° resolution.

Details

The DMI420 series is a ready to use out of the box dual axis inclinometer with no complex configuration or calibration. Fitted with strong magnets on both the side and top for mounting to metal surfaces for quick mounting and re-positioning. The display and internal rechargeable batteries allow for portable applications and up to 8 hours operation. The inclinometer displays both the X-axis Y-axis and can be connected to a PC for synchronised display via the USB port. Open software and choose COM port to view real time data on the computer and allow for recording.

ON/OFF:  Press for 2 seconds to turn on/off
HOLD: Hold recording data
ZERO: Switch between absolute and relative measurements
HOLD&ZERO:

 Press HOLD until small lock mark appears, then press ZERO to switch between angle measurement and length measurement.
ON/OFF&HOLD:

 Press ON/OFF until screen turns black, then HOLD to proceed with precision calibration
ON/OFF&ZERO

 Press ON/OFF until screen turns black, then ZERO to proceed with Zero calibration
Reset Button: Press it when the device crashes, or keys no longer operate
USB Jack: Used for recharging, external data transfer to PC
Alarm Light: Lit when recharging, off when charging completed
